FERNANDO CASAS

Born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Fernando Casas received his BA at the Colorado College before earning a PhD in Philosophy at Rice University, where he lectures on the philosophy and history of art. In 2003 he was invited as a participating artist to the Biennale Internazionale d'Arte Contemporanea di Firenze, an international exhibition of contemporary art. Through his work, Fernando Casas explores philosophical themes such as time, self and co-constitution.
